Do You Need Our Help?

St. Vincent de Paul conferences offer support to residents within their service area. For assistance, you will need to call the SVdP near you.

If there is no conference in your area, we recommend contacting your nearest Catholic church. They may be able to assist, even if they do not have a St. Vincent de Paul conference.

You can also call 2-1-1 for referrals.

What Happens After I Call?

What distinguishes the Society of St. Vincent de Paul from many other social service organizations is our commitment to helping others where they are and serving the whole person with love and compassion. When you request assistance, a member of your local SVdP will contact you to learn more about your situation.

To best serve you and avoid you having to travel to receive help, your local society will work with you to schedule a home visit. During this visit, Vincentians will meet with you to offer support and learn more about how we can help. When needed, assistance may include emergency rent, help with utilities, food, clothing, spiritual assistance, and more. We can also help with referral services.

Be assured that your confidentiality will be protected. When needed, we will use your information to contact utilities/landlord to make a payment on your behalf. We do not share your information with other agencies.
