No, you do not need to be Catholic to receive help. However, you do need to live within the service area of one of our conferences.
When you request help from The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, members from your area will contact you to discuss your current needs and determine how the society can best help.
Depending on your specific situation, assistance may available for emergency rent, utilities, food, clothing, or other items. We can also assist with referrals for further support and services.
Contact your nearest Catholic Church. Search online for “Catholic church near me.” Then call the church to request assistance.
